Richie Self
1962-2025
After receiving a silver dollar in his Christmas stocking at age 5, Richie developed a strong interest in collecting US coins. At age 15 Richie sold part of his collection and purchased his first car. After a brief stint in the refining industry, Richie began working as a professional numismatist and continued to do so for the next 35 years. Richie was a life member of the American Numismatic Association as well as several State organizations. We are proud to continue Richie’s commitments to integrity and authenticity, ensuring our customers can invest with confidence.

Derek Vinson
Growing up in a family of coin collectors, Derek began his first US type set at age 10. After graduating college, Derek began working in the family-owned coin business where he implemented emerging technologies driving huge success in online sales and service. For over 20 years Derek has worked with the best in the business and continues to drive innovation into the Coin and Bullion experience for our customers. Derek stays on the cutting edge of the product market and can be found attending coin shows across the South when not in office.

James Desabaye
Collecting coins from an early age, James has since changed his focus to items of historical interest, principally in the form of letters and documents. His prime objective is to place these items into their historical context. A contributor to several reference books, James is constantly striving to improve his knowledge and expertise. James has worked for American Coins in excess of 20 years. When not working, James enjoys reading and watching classic movies.

Daniel Ramseur
Daniel is a retired veteran, having served 20 years in the Air Force. He is a lifelong student of US Coins and Currency and volunteers at American Coins & Collectibles in his spare time. Thank you, Daniel, for your awesome commitment to our country and our customers.

Stephen has been designing and manufacturing jewelry for the past 50 years! After receiving his M.A. and M.F.A in Silver and Gold Smithing, he founded Stephen Miller Fine Jewelry, remaining in that business for 40 years. AC&C is thrilled to have Stephen join our team, bringing his unique talents and immense experience to our Fine Jewelry Department.
